New Power Electronics and Machines Centre (PEMC)

< All posts

We are thrilled to share that we will be providing the design and installation of Mechanical and Electrical Services for the Power Electronics and Machines Centre (PEMC) at the University of Nottingham.

The £13.5m Research & Innovation hub will be located on the university’s Jubilee Campus, home to the university’s Engineering Faculty’s ever-growing research cluster – which includes the recently completed Advance Manufacturing Building and the Research Accelerator Demonstrator Building. With £9.4m donated by the UK Research Partnership Investment Fund (RPIF – which is run by Research England), the building will form a global centre of excellence for Nottingham University’s PEMC Research Group.

Professor Pat Wheeler, Head of the PEMC Research Group, said “The university and faculty are world leaders in PEMC research, and we are looking forward to getting on site and starting work on a build that with further enhance this reputation”.
