Defining sensational luxury on London’s iconic Marylebone Lane

The BoTree Hotel

< All projects

Exquisite excellence is an art. As a master of effortlessness, Derry Ltd was a perfect partner for integrating elegant touches of M&E innovation into the opulent surroundings of Marylebone’s latest boutique hotel, The BoTree.

Class with care

Conscious luxury. That’s what The BoTree is all about, with every one of its 199 guest rooms and 30 contemporary suites singing eco-friendly convenience. One of the hottest haunts in Marylebone, this resplendent hotel sits harmoniously besides the vibrant scenes of Soho and Mayfair as envisioned by EPR Architects – and stylishly delivered by Derry Ltd in close collaboration with the interior design teams to realise the inspiration of Amsterdam-based designers Concrete.

A light touch

You would be remiss to miss The BoTree’s stunning lattice-set entrance, which echoes with the previous building’s design. So we ensured it made a powerful first impression upon its guests with a veritable lightshow, installing RGBW uplighters to balconies within the lattice framework that illuminated its curving fins. LED strip lighting creates a crown effect upon its peak, while down below colour-changing uplighters lend a delightful glow where the fins connect to the ground. We even included plant bed spike lights to halo the beautiful flower arrangements by The BoTree’s doors. All of these lights, including further elevation uplighters and canopy downlighters beyond, can be seamlessly controlled by a Lutron lighting control system.

Just like magic

The experiences in BoTree’s luxuriant guest rooms and suites are unparalleled, and of course our innovations fit the bill with maximum sophistication. Guests can set the mood with touch sensitive lighting and room controls, commanding underfloor heating, individually-controlled air conditioning units, and electric blackout curtains while reducing energy usage when unused. Then after a long day – or perhaps before a thrillingly long night – guests can enjoy a marble-lined walk-in rain shower that subtly saves water and draws from a tank of 20,000 litres of hot water at any time, sustainably generated through use of Tri-gen Air Source Heat Pumps and Water Source Heat Pumps.
