Derry Ltd has completed the latest phase of its work at The BoTree, a luxury hotel in Marylebone, delivering mechanical and electrical (M&E) fit out and installation works across a range of hospitality and wellness spaces within the building.
The latest works build on Derry Ltd’s involvement in the project, having previously completed the shell and core elements in Summer 2023. This latest phase has seen the team return to site to deliver M&E works across the hotel’s extensive hospitality and wellness facilities.
Designed and led by Tonik Associates, the works include a new gym and bar on the ninth floor, as well as a further bar and a number of suites on the eighth floor. Derry Ltd also previously delivered the gym and spa and wellness facilities across the lower floors of the hotel.
The BoTree incorporates Triple Bond, a social wellness members’ club focused on activation, restoration and connection. The facilities include ice plunges, hot studios, cryotherapy, red light recovery spaces, lounges and a rooftop pool deck, creating a range of specialist environments for guests and members.
Delivering M&E services within hospitality and wellness environments requires careful coordination to accommodate the technical requirements of each space while maintaining the quality and finish expected within a luxury hotel. Derry Ltd worked closely with Shiva Hotels, main contractor McCue and the wider project team throughout the latest phase to coordinate the installation works and help bring the newly completed spaces to life.
For Derry Ltd, the project demonstrates the importance of close collaboration and detailed coordination when delivering M&E installations across complex hospitality environments, supporting the successful delivery of high-quality spaces for both hotel guests and members.
